Born in Germany in 1973, I grew up in the Frankfurt-area and took up photography early in life. After graduating from medical school, I started to intensify my photographic work, leading to first solo exhibitions, mainly focusing on street-photography at that time. After the attendance of photographic workshops in 2009 (NYC) and 2011 (Clarksdale, Mississippi) my photographic approach changed towards conceptual and documentary.
I came back to – and live in – the Frankfurt-area of Germany, where I explore my suburban surroundings – together with my wife and our three children.
